20 Mini Cannelés of Bordeaux
A canelé, also known as a cannelé, is a small French pastry that originated in the Bordeaux region of France. It is famous for its caramelized exterior and moist, custard-like interior.
The canelé is typically made by combining ingredients like milk, flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla beans and dark Rum.
The result is a small, cylindrical pastry with a dark, crispy caramelized exterior that contrasts with the soft, custard-like center. Cannelés are often enjoyed as a sweet treat with tea or coffee, you can add wiped crême or ice cream.
Pre-heat the oven to 200 °C ( 400 ℉). Heat for 5 min for the crunch, let it cool and enjoy!
Store in cool dry place and use by 3 to 5 days, can be frozen up to 1 month.
